The Process

Consultation

This is probably the most critical stage. Our Systems Analyst meets with management, IT and financial staff to ascertain your company's needs and preliminary budget. For example, one firm may need to integrate its computer systems with an overseas corporate server while another might be seeking an in-house network that provides document management and billing systems.

Site Survey

Once the overall shape of the project has been roughed in, mission specific needs can be worked out. We then examine your current systems and define hardware, network and software needs. The result is a complete specification.

Specification Discussions

Specification in hand, we can work with your financial officers to provide the most economical solution. Data Systems works with a wide range of suppliers - IBM, HP, Compaq, Cisco, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Symantec, Alied Telesyn and others. Existing systems may require upgrades in order to fully integrate them with the planned system.

Installation

Our warranted team of technicians install cabling, computers, routers, hubs, switches, printers, software, whatever is needed. We work to deadline - day or night!

Testing

Extensive testing and debugging follows.

Maintenance & Support

We stand behind our work with 24 hour - 7 day a week support if needed. For customers with less mission critical needs, we offer 7am - 7pm contracts. We will be at your premises within 4 hours of a call!

Ongoing support includes keeping clients informed of new products and methods. We will update old equipment if desired and install newer version software as needed.

Training

We provide onsite training in all aspects of off the shelf sotware and Windows training, Sage Accountancy and Citrix Document Management systems.
